I attended the 7 days workshop in the summer of 2013 for 3 days in Seattle, then attended another 7 days workshop in LA in 2014 and a two days workshop in Vancouver in May of 2014 as a volunteer. Since July of 2013, I’ve been practicing Paida Lajin and Chanpao( Zen jogging) and hitting the wall regularly. Many of my friends and some Americans have been doing these too. I got great benefits from practicing these methods in terms of my health.
Before doing Paida Lajin, I was suffering poor health like below:
I almost lost the ability of speaking. I was a language and literature teacher in China and was a Mandarin language teacher in Seattle, but I could barely teach a 40- 50 minutes class. I had to stop when my friends talked to me on the phone for a few minutes, otherwise I would cough and have blood sputum.
My heart was very week and energy was very low. I often just lay by the fire after a few hours work and didn’t have any energy to do house work. Lot of time I felt I couldn’t mange my heart. I even called 911 one night when my heart was jumping to my throat, but I was told my heart was fine when the doctor checked on me.
I was suffering menopause problems: insomnia- getting up 6-7 times a night to the bathroom, hot flashes, and hair loss.
Acid reflux; throat, mouth and lips were extremely dry; There was bad smell from my mouth when I was talking(I didn’t dare to talk to people closely) .
My right foot was peeling very heavy and often itchyand growing blisters. My big toe was growing nail fungus for a few years.
I had uterine fibroids and it was bothering my sleep a lot. I often felt gentle hurting in my belly when I slept.
I lost my center vision of my left eye for a few years. After consistently doing Qigong, my left eye vision came back but it always flashes and felt very heavy on both eyes.
After doing Paida Lajin:
I can talk regularly right now. Sometimes I still feel a little bit short of Qi to talk. I can even sing some now.
My heart is lot stronger and I can stay up to 11pm sometimes even to 1 am. I had to go to bed before 9pm before paida lajin. I can go an entire day without laying down or taking a nap now.
The symptoms of menopause are gone after 4 or 5 months of doing Paida Lajin. I don’t have hot flash anymore nor insomnia (I still get up once in the night but I can fall asleep easily). I still have hair falling but my hair is thicker than before.
A few months later after doing paida lajin, the dryness and the smell from my mouth were all gone.
The skin-peeling problem is gone and the big toe fungus stopped growing and is getting thinner. The itchiness was already gone over a year ago.
Belly hurting was gone a year ago.
The flash and the heavy feeling on my eyes were gone.
I had so many chronic problems and I went to see western and eastern doctors as well as acupuncturists. No one could really help me except one of the acupuncturists improved my insomnia a little. I also learned Origin Points message in Chinatown from Ms. Lilin and practiced it with my friends and some nice volunteers. Origin Points message is good method but it has to rely on other people. My husband and son often helped me with it but those help was way not enough to improve my health. They are busy and I don’t like the feeling that people have to help me, offer me their sympathy.
Thanks to June who informed me about Mr. Xiao’s Paida Lajin Seminar in 2013. Since I had really good base of Chinese culture and history, also I learned Qigong when I was in my twenties, so when I learned Paida Lajin, I thought “it make sense that these methods can help all kinds of chronic problems.” Therefore I didn’t have much suspicion about it and started to take action right away. And I got great benefits from these methods. Not only me but also lots of my friends, friends’ family including Americans.
One of my friend’s husband who is a white guy and a retired teacher, didn’t believe it for a long period; but he started to do Lajin which is a special stretching in 2013 November when his physician asked him to add the pills for his blood fat level. One month later of doing Lajin, he went back to hospital to check and the number of his blood fat cut by half down to 350. He was in great shape and looked lot younger than half year ago on July 4th when I saw him. Now he also does Paida Lajin regularly. One of my lady friends, who is a medical researcher, is the one who has best consistence of doing Paida Lajin, Chanpao, hitting a wall and meditation. She does these self-healing methods almost everyday just like people do exercises or eating. This habit brought her real health and the ability that she is able to mange her own health or be her own doctor.
We should always remember that we humans have self-healing abilities; and strengthening your immune system can keep or enhance this ability. Paida Lajin, Chanpao which is Zen jogging, hitting a wall and meditation are all simple, yet safe and powerful ways to self-heal! The only danger that I know is the healing crisis, which is also a turning point to self-heal. One must read Mr. Xiao’s handbook about Paida Lajin and learn about the healing crises very well if you would like to practice Paida Lajin!
The theory of these methods is actually easy to understand:
Paida Lajin can make your circulation improve.
It unblocks the meridians when Sha is brought out and melt away. Therefore the pain in your body would go away and the nutrition and oxygen will be easily get to their different destinations.
The stimulation makes your body produce different kinds of hormones.
